The images of the incidents during the 32nd finals of the Coupe de USA between Paris FC and Olympique Lyonnais on December 17th came around social networks and television channels. On September 22, a brawl broke out in Angers between the Angevins and Marseillais supporters following a jet of agricultural bomb in the Marseille parking. On October 22, the match between Saint-Etienne and Angers started an hour late after the invasion of the field and degradations in the Geoffroy-Guichard stadium. On November 21, during the Marseille-Olympique Lyonnais Olympic match, after just three minutes of play, the Marseille player Dimitri Payet was hit by a full bottle from the Lyon stands, the match was arrested.

Sanctions for the example?
The list of incidents mentioned above is impressive, but surprisingly most of the pronounced sports sanctions were quite mild. So far, for example, no match had been declared lost on green carpet.
